    Default Timer's On Shrines......

Can We get a real timer on resettable shrines? You know, when You click on it it says "You cannot use this shrine for another X mins."

    Please?

actually...not a bad idea!! Why not? Especially like half the shrines don't even show you that the timer is up!!

ya that is a great idea! I get really annoyed when I have to go back and forth to check, or just sit there and click on it for however long it takes for it to reset.

A friend will bail you out of jail.
A mate will be sitting in there beside you saying "**** that was awsome!!!"

    Timer on UI

    Toggle on/off.

    Shrine1: 14:49
    Shrine2: 0:00
    Shrine3: 0:00

Simple, easy, just code in a clock set to the shrine timers. Stick it in a movable window that can dock with things like the HP bar.

    Done and done.

I like this, too. But can it be done? I mean, how would the game choose shrine 1, shrine 2? How would we know, barring the forums, which is which? Just asking.

It could be set that Shrine1 is the shrine you have most recently used, then when you use another that one becomes Shrine1 and the original becomes Shrine2.

I'd recommend just having a timer appear when you attempt to use the shrine, however.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

    Here you go!

"Why can't you noobs just learn to use a stopwatch? I mean, really, I keep 37 stopwatches around my computer so that I can time all of my abilities, why can't everyone just take this simple step? It's a matter of personal responsibility to keep track of your shrines--the game shouldn't coddle you!"

Not that I believe any of that. I actually think it would be great for the shrine to let you know when you try to use it how long it will be until it resets.

How bout an npc running around with your party and every 2 minutes or so giving you a status update on how many minutes left on shrine reset, how many mobs left in dungeon, how many more traps in the hallway...

You my friend deserve a swift kick in the nutzors

The game is easy enough as is.

This response specifically for your pleasure tenga. Glad to oblige.

I just use that little clock that is in the bottom right hand of your screen. Yes I run windowed mode. Funny thing that ability to read time any more. Hence, I've not had issues.

Also, I tend to buff just before or after shrining. Funny thing how those buffs last a minuter per level for the most part. Funny thing also how you can easily correlate time to shrine with them.

Hence why this is a non issue for me. Code it if you want, it won't phase me at all.

Not very flamy, but are you happy now? And BTW, this was my response to this same topic when it first got brought up way back when with the shrine change.
