Default Do warforged inspire more roleplaying?

Of all my characters, it seems that it's the warforged ones that have a story and history. While I enjoy my other characters, it's my warforged caster and monk that are the most interesting. Is this something others are finding?

Probably depends on the player. For me, it's my elves who have the most interesting backgrounds. There are so many different ways to go with an elf in Eberron (Aerenal, Valenar, Eldeen Reaches, Urban, Phiarlan, Thuranni...not to mention the half-elf possibilities), it just feels much more interesting than the standard forest-dwelling nature-lover-that-uses-a-bow you find in so many fantasy RPGs.

Personally I find my dwarves tend to have the most elaborate background. Dwarves happen to be my favorite fantasy genre race though. I guess it depends on a person's individual tastes and their level of imagination. Not to mention I think having a history of PnP D&D probably helps. But I have noticed that a lot of people really get into their WF. I'm a memer of a guild who's member's are exclusively WF and I'll tell ya there are some characters there. We even have one guy who only speaks and types in generic Sci-Fi drone talk. Like when he see's a named creature he'll say something like "Analyzing... Warning... Optional Spider Coded 'Whisperdoom's Daughter' Detected, Threat analysis minimal" stuff like that. It's probably difficult to maintain but when I team with him it makes fo very interesting and entertaining gameplay. Roleplaying is something that most people don't get into and I think it all depends on personal taste but I would agree that WF seem to be the most applicable for roleplay considering their controversial origins and the fact that they are vastly unique.
