    Default Clever Monkey

Does the energy resist stack with all other types? If not, which?

Paladin/monk split, I dont want to spend on it if it wont stack with energy resist spell.

I think it stacks with everything except ranger lore resists which are class equivalent.

Stacks with everything, including rogue AP that boost resistances.

it stacks with ranger past lives.

it stacks with fvs inherant 10 point resits.

it stacks with sorcs savant granted resists.

    it stacks with ship buffs

it stacks with resist energy potions / items / spells.

it stacks with rogues / rangers elemental resist enhancements.

    Hope that helps.

    Yes this all helps thanks.

I figure, 2 elemental resistance against every hit over the course of a quest will be worth more than 5 extra hit points.

Good to know as I was informed that it didn't. I'll add that to my knowledge base. +1 to you.

For a pally mix this make sense. The trap avoidance alone means you don't have to worry too much until epic. Just for my edification and if you don't mind sharing, are you going for a Divine Phoenix or variant?

On a character that is mostly Paladin I would agree with this - you get Toughness enhancements and are mixing up Paladin clickie attacks in with Ki strikes, effectively conserving some Ki.

Compared to say a pure Monk who might need the HP/extra Concentration more.

Actually Im doing an 18/2 paladin/monk. No ki strikes. I doubt my unarmed will be very effective (but I don't know, as this is my first use of monk).

Should have just over 500 hit points unbuffed, more if I change to DoS, so I think at this point reducing incoming damage by potentially way more than 5 hp total (first tier of monkey is all I can get 18/2) is more beneficial for sure.

I don't know if two monk levels for evasion and feats on a pally has a 'build name', so if not, from here on out its called The Awesome Guy!
