Sorry to the folks in the Hound raid group I was in last night. I warned everyone over voice chat that there was a bad lightning storm going on outside (I live in north Florida, pretty much lightning capital of the world). Sure enough, while we were heading back to the raid after a party wipe (almost had the Hound down too) there was a lightning strike somewhere nearby that rattled the windows and power went out. My UPS auto-magically shut down the computer at which point I unplugged everything to be on the safe side and just watched the show outside.

There was so much cloud-to-cloud lightning going on that you could probably have read a book outside (it was that consistently bright) if not for the gumdrop-sized raindrops that would have been whipped into your face by the 50mph wind gusts... it was quite the storm. My son slept through it without stirring, but it woke up my daughter. Nothing like hearing the crack of the lightning strike and that peel of thunder that just rolls by, to wake up an 8 year old.

Anyways, sorry again. It's the first time I've ever gotten knocked off-line that way and even though it was beyond my control (the storm hadn't even started when I initially joined the raid) I still felt bad, as I know its a pain to grab another cleric, especially when you're already 1/2 way back to the raid in the Subterrain. Hopefully that'll be the last time.
