Flight Spell

I have allways been wondering..... when are these people gonna come out with a flight spell for sorcerers and wizzys??!! Do you think that they should come out with one? If so... do you think that sorcerers and wizzys could cast it on others?

They should have planned for it in the beginning!

But it seems they planned from the beginning NOT to have it in DDO.

It is a 3rd lvl spell that would make many quests super easy if it was implemented.

It would actually overpower DDO as it is now.

I wish we had it........but since they didn't plan for it, it is probably best they keep it out of the game.

that is very true.... sad.... but true. they would probably have to reform the ddo universe because of flight!! (it would be so awsome though!!!)

in PnP, I hardly ever used it. But in DDO it would be more used than Haste. People would be flying all over the Market even.

It'll be just like when people used to kill Velah and jump back down to Eberron.

Honestly, I can't see them implementing this - it's one of the hardest spells to deal with when DMing PnP, since it lets you bypass so many things. It would require too much reworking of lower level quests. Would be fun though.

Spider climb is the same way. Much as I'd love to do my stealth thing while clinging to the ceiling, probably not going to happen.

Yep, would be awesome, and it's really sad that it won't ever be implemented

Yeah they mentioned in the begining that they would never be implimenting it as part of an arcane casters spell list.

that would be really cool to have a pet dragon now that you mention it...... aaah..... the destruction we could cause..... lol
and it would also be pretty cool to have familiars too.... it would suck when they die though.

It's the same kind of problem as Passwall - just too game-breaking for a 3D environment. There's no way to build a level when the player can pass through restrictions.
