    Default Proper BB Kiting

Just a little background: I am in the process of leveling a cleric with maxed out BB capabilities. So Mod 7 and the BB bug threw a little monkey wrench in my plans (I'm just happy it's been acknowledged and slated for fix). As a result, I haven't used BB enough to learn how to properly kite mobs for max damage dealing. The couple of times I've tried, I've simply dragged them through in a straight line enter / exit with rinse & repeat until dead or the BB stops working Is there a better or more effective way to kite mobs?

Before the bug, you could just hit run and turn (to run in a circle) and mobs would pop in and out of the line and take massive damage. Doesnt work well with giants though.

Depends on how much the Mob concerns me. Most mobs dont scare me much and a Straight pull back and forth through the BB is just fine. Not much Survives more than 2 tme sback and forth through the blades.

On a Very high HP Mob, kiting aroudn the erimeter of the BB is pretty neat. Unfortunatly, theres zero way to practive this right now as its broken.

Isn't it fixed now? I have had mobs running in and out of my BB yesterday taking damage several times

Just fyi, I might suggest picking up Quicken, it makes setting up your BB quickly and without fail. In addition I wear fearsome armor while kiting them.. Keeps me mostly out of harms way.. and for the few stragglers that are feared and running away I typically destruct them just fine.

Nope...that works sometimes and then it will quit working (i.e. no damage EVER) without warning. Using a single blade barrier works most of the time. Having 2 or more in an instance is a sure fire way to activate the bug.

Mobs COntinue to take damage first time they Enter and then when they Leave a BB. No Damage on Re-entry. The ANimation doesnt come close tolining up withthe damage wither.

if 2 bb are cast they will take no damage....so in raids only 1 cleric should be dropping them

I'm still finding BB... sporadic. Some seem to take regular damage, others seem to take damage the first time, then walk in and out of it with complete impunity. Its a bit like the wraiths-becoming-immune-to-firewall bug.

As for the kiting method, I just run in circles slightly outside the bb perimeter. Does work nicely... when it works.
