Build request/information

Hi, does anybody know where I can find information regarding the various types of Sorceror builds? More specifically, I am looking to build a Drow Necromancer. You know, controlling and/or creating undead. Curses, diseases etc..

I realize that the playability of of a Necromancer might not be the easiest in the world, but I am looking to try something new. Thanks.

There are many posts in this forum on builds and I seem to remember several mentions of the Necromancer build either by itself or as a modification to other builds. Can't put my finger on the posts right now and I am not one of the build specialists who can give you any detailed help. My recommendation is to use the advanced search tool and nose around a bit and see what you can find.

I have done just that. Here is the link to my thread if you want to take a look. The necromancer is currently stuck at level 8 due to playing different server. The build is absolutely awesome in the undead arena, very hard to play in the living areas.

Also, here is a link to Rons character builder. It definitely helps out tremendously without having to roll and reroll your toon. You can plan everything in advance

And he used to have one for CC specialist, think it disappeared though. There is information about sorcerors in those threads that would shed some light and give some ideas on your build. Good luck

Thanks for the info. I figured that it would be hard to solo at early levels but wanted a new challenge. I just hope I'm not disapointed with a Necromancer build at higher levels. If this build is gimped or otherwise useless for endgame content then I will be hugely dissapointed.

Anyone else build a Necromancer and want to offer their opinions?
