Yet another shining example of the rush-release that was Mod 7. Seriously Turbine, I've got some free time during weeknights...do you need someone to proof-read these types of things for you? I'll gladly help out.

Unless they make it mithral, my tank wants no part of this shield. If I pull it, it'll just sit in the bank, awaiting a fix.

Actually, barbarians can drink CSW potions... but the funnel tech clearly has a messed barbarians and yes, it is a bug. If you don't agree with this, then you need some player psychology 101, to open your PHB or to realise that there would have been much easier and better ways to balance barbarians... which would have included not giving Tempest to rangers.

If they don't want us to drink Remove Fear Potions while feared, there are other work arounds.

If you want to take a revenge on other classes, wait for your love... and don't laugh of the bugs that affect others.

Sorry you misinterpret my reasoning Borr.

It´s the approach of applying Common Sense and Logic to a mechanical procedure in a fantasy Game I am trying to uphold. (High Humour Sentence there if you want to ridicule it)

No Revenge, No Nerf, No Vendetta because of loves denied.....Those are elements of Drama I care not for.

    Hope that clarifies my position.

You aren't applying common sense or logic. Not wholey. You're using selective reasoning and situational logic, and ignoring any data that doesn't support your conclusions.

You keep bringing up raging barbarian and feared rogues, but you refuse to bring up the combat expertise using-fighter who drinks a remove curse and can't bring combat expertise back up for 8 more rounds. Or the Wizard who cast Tenser's Transformation and can't dismiss it, and sits there with mummy's rot being unable to cure it for the duration of the spell.

If you're going to say you're using logic... use it broadly, and don't be afraid of where it leads you. It should be obvious that it's a mechanical bug whether or not the first two test-cases are justified through anecdotal evidence and logic. It should be apparant, once you look at the underlying mechanics behind the potion change, why potions are reacting the way they do.

EDIT: Not that this is relevant to the discussion... someone else started it.

I agree that the max dex should be raised to 4, or it should be made into steel and then taken out of the raid loot tables.

    Default I like this set

I personally really like this set for my tank. I think this set of items works really well for an all around tank build that didn't specialize to a single concept. My tank also happens to be warforge as well. Ultimatly the bracers will give me +1 ac 90% healer friendly, better blocking dr, sonic guard, healing proc and keep agg a little better from dps. The set will completely free up my glove slot and I'm still debating what to place there. I'll likely be building some willsave gloves with concordant opposition, +8 to willsave and immunity to fear will work well I think. Of course I would have really liked the bracer to be a set of gloves that way I would net 3 ac but I think I'll take em as is.

The fact that it is Max Dex 2 and not 1 makes me think they did this on purpose
It was actually designed by an evil aligned cleric to dupe gulible paladins into thinking that it's something useful.

I think his exact quote when designing it was "It's QUASI-mithril. It's SEMI-Mithril. It's the Diet coke of Mithril. Just 2 Max Dex bonus, Not Mithril enough!"

He then sold it to Sally stating "Why settle for a million platnium when we can have a million gold!"

    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

On the flip side of the coin, lorrik's champion is also dr15 but a heavy shield, so no max dex bonus

Loving it on my intimitank, up to shield DR 31 with it.
