Default Potency vs Devotion, please clarify

Hey, I've been told to, laughed at, ridiculed, and downright nastiness when it comes to the question. No matter which way I go, someone always tells me I'm wrong, so, since I'm pretty certain either Potency or Devotion affects healing, I decided to ask the experts

So, I ask the Devs to please advise on the truth....

    For Clerics:

    Does Potency Items affect healing?

Or Does only Devotion items affect healing?

Do either Potency or Devotion affect Scrolls/Wands/Potions???

    THanks,
    Chris

    Hello,

Potency will enance the effectiveness of all of your spells (including healing)
Devotion will only enchance the effectiveness of your healing spells

niether of them will help wands, scrolls, potions or clickies...but there are cleric\paladin\ranger enhancements that will help out your wands and scrolls (wand\scroll master)

    Hope this helps!

    Devotion affects Healing spells only.
Potency affects all the spells (of course it won't affect timed spells)
Only AP's can affect scrolls or wands.

To clarify, that's APs on the scroll/wand mastery enhancement, not the devotion line.

Paladins (and I assume rangers) do not have any wand/scroll mastery enhancement lines.

As a player with 3 Rangers, I can clarify that they indeed do not have Mastery lines, but could use a buff to Wands when they choose to whip said wands. I would prefer Items stack with the effects(like Potency and Lore).

Yeah...my bad. I was thinking of the devotion stuff for some reason

Just to support what everyone is saying:

    Devotion: Healing Spells
    Potency: All Spells, including Healing
    Combustion: Fire Spells

Basically you only use items like Devotion or Combustion if you can't find a similarly-leveled Potency item.

Bards are the other class that have the Wand Mastery enhancements.
