RP guilds!

Ok, I know of a few RP guilds... However finding you guys is almost impossible! >< So... I figured I would toss out a call to them.

The one character I am ready to RP with is known as Ericnox Shattersoul (paladin 2). He is from the Church of the Silver Flame. The rest you will have to learn about IC ~.^

((Interesting none the less. Small guild as well. Oh well. They all start out small. Ericnox is a rather zealous follower of the Flame. So he may not fit overly well. But ya never know. ^.^))

"Well, let's see here. . ." The 7-foot tall Warforged pauses for a moment, thinking. "There's that. . . Grey guild. I don't know much about them. . ." ((In honesty, though, a good guild. :3 It's got Uma in it. I think I need no further explanation. ;P))

"I guess one I know from experience would be the Fellowship of the Golden Night. Free rooms to sleep in, if you're the kind that needs it. . . Um. . . People watching each others' backs. . . Nice little main hall. . ." The Warforged chuckles, "Only complaint I have is how weird some people are. . . Course, that said, I'm sure a certain someone is going to paint me purple again, and after it took me a whole month to get off. . ." ((Fellowship is the guild I'm in, and the one that I have the most experience with, unfortunately, seeing as I haven't really been in many others except for one I'll mention later. The Fellowship is a very good guild. Pretty much everyone in it seems to mesh well, and the forums have good role-play in them, from single person stories to open threads. I've got a link in my signature.))

"Hmm. . ." His orange eyes dim for a minute as he thinks. "Oh yeah, the Order of the Sword and Rose. They're pretty big; bigger than the Fellowship, I think. They've got a hall as well. . . I think. Have I ever seen that hall? I dunno. . ." The juggernaut trails off, mumbling to himself as his train of thought visibly derails. A second later, he snaps back to attention. "Anyway, uh, yeah. Great group over there, too. Whenever I team up with one of them, I'm pretty confident that I have someone who knows what they're doing." ((Another good guild, and definitely my first choice to apply to if I ever got kicked from the Fellowship, for some odd reason. I do, actually, believe they're larger than the Fellowship. They also seem to be the main name in roleplaying on this server, in my opinion. If you're looking for a sure bet, look no further. Active forums, active in game. . . Just great all-around. They can also be found on GuildPortal -- sorry! I don't have a link off-hand. . .))

"Uhmm. . . Two others come to mind. Turen, leader of the Crimson Nexus, leads the, well. . . Heh. Crimson Nexus. That one's rather small, I think. I used to be a member, a long time ago. Almost two years, in fact. Turen was the one who found me when I was stumbling around town, and he accepted me into the guild, of which he was an officer at the time. Now he's the leader." ((Crimson Nexus is another small guild, if you like that aspect. I, sadly, am not active enough on my alt with that guild -- They're on GuildPortal, though. I'm biased, because Turen was the one who got me into the roleplaying scene on this server two years ago, but definitely another great guild.))

"Last one would be the Dawnswords. . . I just recently learned of the name, so, you'll have to forgive me that I don't really have much to say." The Warforged chuckled, and adjusted the orange bag mask that he wore. "I like them, though. Laid-back, real nice. . . Good people." ((I don't know enough about these guys, but I really wish I did. I wanna say they're a small guild, but don't take my word on it. I really can't say anything bad for these guys, nor for any of the RP guilds -- all of them are filled with great people. I think, actually, all 5 that I've named here are located on GuildPortal if you need a guild page. Various members of the different guilds hover around these forums, too, so keep an eye out there.))

((I guess, well, I probably didn't help much. That all summed up to "They're all great! No bad things!" Heheh. So if you were looking for pros and cons, well, this didn't do much, now, did it? ;P All the guilds, I believe, are very accepting of new members -- just send in an application to one or two, and then see if you can't find a member of the guild online to chat with. If you'd like to meet someone in-game first, Thelanis Thursdays are when roleplayers really seem to come out of the woodwork, at the Phoenix Tavern in the evenings. Usually, you can find a few, or a bunch, there. Last week, I heard, there were LOTS of people there. Just keep your eyes open, and happy hunting!

"Tell me more about when you are a part of... These... People of the Fellowship of the Golden Night. Do you all have a goal here? A mission?"

He takes another slow drag off his cigar and smiles a bit up at the warforged. "Or perhaps do you wish to know if I would fit with this group? I enjoy being able to protect others, as well as have someone at my back to watch for threats. The hammer only does so much when the enemies start to get bold. Faith alone will only go so far as well. Even the Silver Flames holy light can only go so far in the darkest places on this land. So having a good arm at my back makes things great."

Protecting the city and strengthening the alliance between guilds, sort of thing.

"And Silver Flame, hm? I know one or two people in the guild aren't. . . Fond of them. One little Warforged, I think, used to serve them in the Catacombs under a contract, but he recently was released. To me, you sound like a fit," he shrugged, "but that's just me. We all watch each others' backs, which sounds like a priority to you. I think, so long as you aren't actively trying to recruit people to your religion, you should be fine -- myself, as an example, don't really understand that kind of stuff. . . Just worshipping a statue, in my opinion. Doesn't do much. . . But, uh, the others. . ." The Warforged paused again, thinking. "One, Zoltando. . . He isn't too fond of the Silver Flame. There's another, Sho, who I think is from the Crimson Nexus but generally hangs around the hall. . . Doesn't seem to like Silver Flame much either. But, like I said, so long as you aren't, like, recruiting or something. . . I don't see a problem."

The blue juggernaut stops, realizing he's said a mouthful. He grins, and rubs the back of his head nervously. With a slight bit of hesitancy, he adds, "Again, though, we've all got our weird traits and histories -- for those who remember theirs. Somehow, someone finds a way to fit right in."

Ericnox takes another drag off his cigar and blows the smoke away, smiling a bit more. "Sounds like a great bunch of people. And as for active recruitment, well... I don't do that. My faith in the Flame is my own. If you have questions, or wish to learn about it then talk to me. No point in forcing it upon you."

He puts the cigar out and stands up. "And as for the others who do not like the Silver Flame... Well... To each their own. They stay outta my faith, I won't rip theirs apart. Simple as that. A small bit of professional kindness goes a very long way you see. Well, you are a warrior, you know that."

He chuckles a bit more and nods. "Some time I may have to speak with you again. Right now. I have a bit of work to do."

"...ast night in Stormreach the bar scene seemed kind of slow. However rumors abound that someone high up in a certain 'Fellowship' is about to have a visit from the Stork of Tharashk. Now I'm not saying who the mother to be is, but look for more white haired sticky fingers to be about soon.

In other news, Cog has asked that Dwarves no longer treat the bars as their flop houses. Seems one patron crawled up on the bar, found it to his liking and made it difficult for the staff to do their jobs. So please people leave the bars for the drinks. There are plenty of chairs, tables and corners for your other activities.

Apparently the spies seen lurking in the Phoenix..."
