Yep your right. He doesn't play anymore. He occasionally comes back, and if he does I am not going to even bother getting a screenshot from him to prove to a bunch of forum trolls that it exists.

You are being one of those "guys". Superior potency VII does exist I saw one drop for a guildie around mod 5 time frame it was RR warforged min level 14. Of course I have no screenie to prove it. I currently use a Greater potency VII (ML14) on my cleric, that I can prove.

I have Greater Pot VII as well however i still HIGHLY doubt the SUP Pot VII as like i stated above given the current ML for items that is a ML 16 rr IF it is +1. Look on the AH and let me know if you can find a +1 Sup Pot VI, as the lowest + that i have ever seen was +3, so that the non rr ML is 14. I am just betting on the current loot tables and the way that the dev's seem to have the items setup. I don't claim to be 100% correct. I just am stating until i see one on the forums or in a chest or an ingame friend (trusted not random) tells me of one, it doesnt exist in my schema.

Greater potency VII is ML 14, superior potency VI is ML 14, Greater potency VIII would be ML 16 (or 14 RR). Superior potency VII would be ML 16 (or 14 RR). Since there does not appear to be a large quantity of sup VII, I would assume they have been pulled from the loot table.

I saw one, therefore I know it exists whether anyone believes me is irrelevant.

Potency does work with Heal and all cure wound spells, as well as Blade Barrier. There is no reason to use a devotion item except that it will have a lower min level (e.g. I have a no min lvl superior pot VI that I use on lowbie clerics)

Maybe you're confusing it with empower spell vs empower healing, where empower spell only works with some cleric's healing spells - but I can't remember which (I'm sure someone can chime in and remind me)

This is true of a lot of things... There were no pictures of OJ committing murder or of the usage of cigars in the Oval office with interns... not many doubt it happened but I see no screenshots.

Perhaps 2 loot weekends ago they existed in the loot table and your friend pulled one of the only ones ever pulled being RR ML14. It would have had to have been during the mod 4 +1 loot weekends, as mod 5 did not have any, if I remember correctly. That being said if true it is obvious and indisputable that they have been since pulled from the loot table, probably with mod 5 being introduced. Since nobody ever pulled them from Litany on elite and nobody has pulled them from mod 6. So while their maybe 4 or 5 hanging around from a loot weekend, for all intensive purposes they do not exist as loot, because they are so rare as to be unavailable to anyone.

I am not really sure why Turbine thinks keeping them out of the loot table is so important, as all it does is devalue the newer higher level spells, as the lower level spell are more powerful because they can take advantage of potency. I mean why use polar ray if disentegrate costs less and does so much more damage.Horrid Wilting is useless as well as the damage it does without a potency item is marginal.
