    Those punch attacks aren't going to measure up to a real monk's even, they have a damage dice progression that increases every few monk levels. How do you manage to stay effective? (not panning your build, i'm just interested in your strategy)

    Why no Stunning Blow. A bludgeoning fighter without stunning blow?

    The dps is the big thing holding me back from rolling the char. I am actually thinking slashing for kamas to help with that. I wish q-staves were implemented correctly. They should be a double weapon and finessable. I left out the stunning blow and stunning fist because I won't have the str to make blow effective and not enough wisdom to make fist land. I suppose I could look for a good set of weighted wraps and roll with that. Any other thoughts?

    2 is luck bonus(reaver head or +1 for voice of the master) and +1 from way of the badger(monk)

    Had a new thought. Since I miss counted and I won't actually have a centered bonus at 2 monk. I could go TWF and use mineral rapiers. But, I don't know if the wisdom bonus to AC while uncentered is working as intended.

    I think the point is why make a bludgeon specced fighter who doesn't have a good stunning blow dc. It seems counterproductive and wasteful. You might as well make another class which would have more synergies like ranger..

    I had that thought also, and was actually tinkering with the planner. But, the big issue their is flurry doesn't work with TWFing. Probably not a big issue as the flurry won't be very strong on a splash monk. Monk ranger could be very strong if they ever put in zen archery.

    What do you guys think of switching to Pierce spec? Dual mineral rapiers. Both Holy. One exceptional AC and the other exceptional wisdom? That should help with the dps. Any thoughts? I could also rob some points from Con, and bump up strength. Any thoughts? I really want to solve the DPS problem. I think the rest of the build hp,saves and AC are pretty solid.

    It does, but I have no centered AC bonus. And currently(not sure if it is abug or not) you only lose your wisdom bonus to AC if you put on Armor. You can be uncentered and still get the wisdom bonus to AC. My other thought was take 2 points from dex and wisdom,lose two points of ac, bump strength up to base 14 and use q-staves.

    Since monks are still so new, and we're getting so little communication from Turbine and the devs these days, might be best to err on the side of caution and assume that it will get fixed. Would hate to see another round of builds get trashed a la the infamous "evasion in heavy armor" deal from back in the day.

    I don't know if it WAI. But, there is no feat or anything listed in the character sheet to check either. It has been a long time since I ran a monk in p&p, but I think you kept the wisdom bonus as long as you didn't use a sheild or armor. The devs are aware of the issue and have never posted it as a Known bug. Just remember you can not build ki or assume a stance while uncentered.
