Stu.... well you get the idea.
Isn't this what I've been saying.

I've got a Water Monk going (Halfling) Unarmed Striker Stunning Fist

and a Fire Monk (Human) Q Staff

The Water Monk pretty much builds up Ki and hit Stunning Fist where applicable (though on Bosses and undead I use FoL)
Easily this is the best Monk type at level Cap content.

the Q Staff user is mostly sticks with FoL.

I do occassionally switch things up when I need to do something specific, but the KISS method seems to work pretty well

    Default I second the

too *&(*&(* easy to lose an activated but not used finishing move!

My type of play has been to focus on the FOL/finishing mainly and IF I build up enough ki, to slowly expand to other options when specialty focus (ie ice attack for a fire creature) does not apply.

Also, I seem to be using more and more my NON monk debuffs like Trip (now improved trip) and Stunning Blow. Amazingly how they work on things so well not purple or red and NO ki spent! AFTER they are stupified and/or prone, THEN I can use my attacks, sometimes if the right one worked, for CRIT based rewards (another reason to switch or be in fire stance right then.)

As for soloing Kolbold Assult normal, I had one problem:

Even while doing it at level on my current incarnation, I hit them once and they dropped! Thank goodness there were a LOT of them to do the light moves and stay living! Now I wonder how much easier it would have been if I had cleave then?

Be careful what you wish for, what you say is best; for sometimes what you seek is found, not at the end of the quest.

Ever since the last update. My finishing moves are not working at all.

    My monk is on khyber
    Name: Grazzhopper

Anyone know why this is happening? I seem to be the only person having this problem.

And I hate playing my monk without the healing finishing move.
