Default Why are Robes so lame looking

Is anyone else tired of the lame_ass robes us Sorcerors have to wear?? I wish we could customize our appearence a little more...

For now, I guess I will just have to NUKE any smelly barb that decides it'd be funny to comment on my purple fearsome robe of improved false life. Trust me, after they eat a maxed out and empowered fireball or two, they don't think it's so funny anymore! True story.

You do know theres outfits now? You can always wear one of those (and then complain that they dont look good hehe).

Supposedly mod8 includes some sort of appearance customization of items. Rumour? yep. But hopefully true.

Well I hope the rumours are true then.. I'd love to be able to customize or even design my own robe/outfit.. instead I'm stuck wearing purple and powder-puff blue robes of lameness. lol I've even bought more then one of the same types of robes at the AH just because I've hated the colors, patterns or whatever. This gets expensive after awhile!

Too bad we couldn't just 'preview' the equipment listed for sale by vendors like in WoW. I miss that feature.

That smelly Barb only told you your robe was pretty! LOL A little sensitive are we? I will see if I can find you a nice pink floral pattern for you ok. Will that make you feel better? Come out of the closet Firecloud then it won't matter what kind of robe you are wearing, everyone will understand.

Ah, Ogarth. I thought I recognized that smell.. an interesting mixture of B.O., ale, and charred flesh from the last time you made a comment about my clothing.

Sorcs have always ruled in dresses. From the beginning of time in ours and all alternate universes. This is one of my favorite videos, please forgive the frame of reference.

First time I have seen any part of WoW. All I can say is it looks very Mario Bros.ish! Glad I am on DDO.

And, oh, Firecloud, the alst time I made a comment about your pretty dress we were running Vale where you cannot 'fireball' me.

Default Some of the robes arent' that bad

My level 5 sorceress is wearing a pretty nice looking robe of invulnerability (not a bad robe for low levels until I find a fearsome, or for non fearable dungeons).
Of course, everything looks good on a female drow, but still....

I don't have a problem with my Wizard or Sorc wearing robes. It is just what casters wear. But my ranger! Oh no. What kind of fearless hunter stalks the wilderness in a dress? Thank goodness for the new outfits!

Solution number one: wear an outfit
Solution number two: roll a female character
Solution number three: grovel with the rest of us... What self respecting ranger hunts down his prey, vorpals and all, wearing a big white dress? Not that I think the "outfits" look any better either... until I finnaly get to wear something that I can respect, I complain

Amen! I'm not sure how many Fearsome/Imp Falselife robes I've been through on my Ranger. Buy one at the AH, try it on, 'Ugh!', put back on original robe, list new robe on AH, repeat...

Lol. Warforged can make great casters. I know many kick butt Warforged Wizzies. Who wouldn't enjoy the ability to buff, nuke and self heal?

IMO, I think there are some cool looking robes out there. I'm happy with the ones which my sorcerer has picked up (although she is a sorceress). Firecloud throws fireballs like a girl anyway (no offence to any girls out there), so may as well dress like one I'm looking for a robe with a big red cross on it for you, so I have a nice target to range you next time you're running away from me :P

Don't forget to have that robe with the big red cross come with a gigantic pink bow on the back.

Why are rangers wearing robes!?!? It must make it really hard to deal with poison ivy going up places while gallivanting through the forest....
