    Default Unexpected error with launcher.

    I received this error with my launcher.

    "Error while accessing the remote configuration:
    The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occured on a receive."

    Could any kind soul help me out please?

    This seems to be the problem, which would be server side or somewhere in between causing a disturbance. Like I said in my first post you might want to contact Turbine about this. I don't think it has anything to do with your system

    Try copying the items from c:/programfiles/turbine/ddo/backup into the main ddo folder and rerunning the launcher. If that still does not work try reinstalling the launcher:

    1) Open your Internet browser and navigate to:

    http://download.turbine.com/ddo/ddolauncher_1358_en.exe

    2) Answer "Save" when prompted by the browser, and save dndlauncher_1358.exe to your DDO installation folder.

    e.g. C:\Program Files\Turbine\Dungeons & Dragons Online - Stormreach

    3) Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your DDO installation folder.

    4) Execute dndlauncher_1358.exe by double-clicking on it.

    4) Answer "Yes to All" when prompted whether to overwrite the existing files or not.

    5) Delete the Dungeons and Dragons Folder located in the My Documents folder to erase old configuration settings.

    6) Open the Launcher and you should be able to log in and patch the game correctly.
