Unofficial Chinese Server?

I dont intend on being mean or racist or whatever. Just noticed there is alot on our server. I dont mind grouping with them, but I have run into communication problems which can be a major pain. Yesterday for example in flesh maker's, we went over the plan for 5 mins before he typed "I dont understand you." I dont remember exactly what he typed, but something along those lines.
I thought they have overseas server's? If they do, why are they not on them?
I am fine with grouping with them on the server, but shouldn't they be able to understand English? This is a US server right?
I am sure I am going to get negative response's, I am not trying to be a jerk.

I thought Sarlona was the unofficial RP server, Lowbie friendly server... we have enough titles already... lol

The chinese server shut down, and it appears that they have merged with Sarlona.
Personally I welcome them, but I do understand the communication frustrations. Looks like we'll all have to be a bit patient and figure out ways to handle it all in an intelligent manner.

This game (especially at Elite End Game content) is about communication, communication and talent of some basic tactical
executions.)

I for one would not be too happy if due to lack of VOICE and/or TYPED communication ability I have to run a few hours shroud - Vision raid and wipe unnecesarily. (I make miracles happen every day from my work & Family Schedule to play the game I enjoy so much and take incompetence and all potential forms of wasted time very seriously)

Race, Language, Skin Color....meh. It´s nothing.... (to me) and being from a "minority" I can talk all I want about non-White America and have no inferiority complex to justify taking defensive stances.

As a matter of fact I believe Minorities should adapt fully to the American way and system, otherwise America will be the land of none, ruled by political correctness and trying to make everyone happy....and we all know what results you´ll get if you try that.....

The issue here is strictly Game playability, so please...don´t twist the OP´s comment into something it is not. That is the main point of my response.

Countries, Languages, Kids, Elitist Guilds, selfish and rude players.

All pay subscriptions and all have the right to play.

Hard as it is, I find ways to put up with the ones I don't like....I'm sure everyone can as well.

I understand the communication issues. Some of them are fairly decent in english, but I reckon most of them aren't.
I have no issues so far though.

Agreed. Communication is a huge issue at higher levels but I haven't had any issues yet. Only played with them on lowbies and most of them knew what they were doing and the ones leading the parties spoke english.

Although the sorcerer in flesh maker did a good job, just not being able to communicate sucked. I feel sorry for them a little, but I do see chinese LFM's up, so hopefully they rang around.

I have grouped with a couple of them so far. The communication issue is something of a challange. The two times they were in my group, I simply went slow and made sure they were watching me and I was watching them to kind of clue off one another. It went fine. I have yet to have time to figure out how to communicate with the non english players. I think it's wrong of Turbine to group them in and not create some sort of translator built into the chat system. Talk about feeling alienated, that's a great way to force a player base off.

The two times I have had one in my group I watched to see if they were stopping for everything that dropped from a container. They were not. So I deduced that they were not a plat farmer and was just playing the game that they liked. It sucks that we can't talk to them. Communication is key in some adventures.

If they can type (and understand what they are typing...) "I am from China" thats more than quite a few non Asian players can do...(considering their instruction-listening-response skills too)

This one just bothers me. So maybe they cant speak very good english. They pay their 15 a month. You can not group w/ their characters. But the "their kind" reference sounds so xenophobic that i cannot believe that there are people that still have this mind set... Your implications seem boarderline racist...
