I bought one of these this morning for 12K GP.

They are pretty common now if I can afford to get them for all of my rangers as well as casters.

While not often that cheap, they can be had pretty readily on the AH for fair prices. They were extremely rare before Mod 6 opened and coveted highly for the first few weeks as they began to drop more often.

Sorry bud didnt' mean to rain on your parade but I thought I'd step in before someone started asking why you were trying to rip off someone else or that you'd never get scales for it, etc., etc.

One scale for it is a fair trade, IMO. Sad though - I paid 480k PP for my first one and considered it a steal at the time.

Just because they are moderately common now doesn't change the fact that they are the best item a caster can have, and as such something every Wizard, Sorc and Cleric needs one of. That's why they hold some modest value.

They are more than moderately common.

I have 9 characters (5 rangers, 1 cleric, 1 wizard, 1 sorc and 1 paladin) that all have sup pot 6 scepters, lt. maces, etc. If I can waste a sup pot 6 item on a paladin then you know they aren't that hard to find.

I do agree though that a single small ingredient is a fair trade and I hope the OP gets something good for his.

I traded way too much too get my first one <sigh>, but at the time it was the single best caster item in the game. Since Mod 6 came out I've pulled 7 of these, and have given most of these away to our fellow guildies and transfered the last to the Guild Bank. They are pretty common now, still awesome, but common and can't fetch the same prices as pre-Mod 6.
