I just created a Monk, I want to know how important is CHA for a monk

STR 14

DEX 14

CON 14

INT 12

WIS 14

CHA 8

Please let me know if these numbers can work, I am trying to creat a monk that will be sutiable to work as a tank, I want to be up front with the the tanks killing as much as I go. Any commets or sugestions would be helpful.
