Feature request- Pack organization

I have been playing this game for over 2 years now. One of the things that has always Irked me is the lack of a way to keep my pack slots organized. Now that we have some of the mechanics in the game that I believe would facilitate organization, I thought I would throw my idea out there for the devs to chew on.

Would it be possible to add a drop down list so that each tab in our packs would auto-gather only certain items? For example I would love to be able to set my pack like this
; Tab 1 in my pack always auto-gather only weapons

; Tab 2: consumables always auto-gather. ( ie... Pots, wands, scrolls,coal, candy canes, beholder cookies... you get the idea.)

; Tab 3: always auto gather Hats, belts, bracers, necklaces,boots.

; Tab 4: always auto gather Armor,robes,outfits,cloaks.

; Tab 5 always auto gather all else.

You get the idea now I hope. I think that by incorporating this in to the game you will help us players be able to keep better track of our gear, know where all the junk in our pack is when we need to equip it ( or sell it, Trade it). Please please consider it.. it would totally make my day.

To the rest of the game community, If you like it chime in and say so in the thread please lets let the devs know that we would like to organize our stuff ... the chaos has gone on too long!

I agree any way to make it so that when I get my pack organized in a certain way it stays at least roughly that way would be great

I know I am not the only one with a cleric that is tired of having to dig through my pack to find scrolls and wands...
