So why is it I see more Dwarf's [plural spellin pls], humans and WF?

What is it about the Elf that people leave behind in the 32pt builds?
I am so close ot the 32pt myself and plan on another Elf. I play my WF .01% of my play time and my Drow is in a static [sorta] guild.

So really, who wants to see more Elf in Stormreach? Can I be the only old-skooler that wants to stick to the classic Elf Ranger? Or even Elf Fighter? [would go a s far to say Thief...but they do not exsist in DDO... ;p]

humans are stupid. halflings are inane. Dwarf kith are...well dwarf kith...nothing can make them seem cool to me.

It's the con hit. Hps have become very important in game. So, dwarves get a bonus to con and elves get a hit. Hence, more dwarves. I prefer elves myself. They're far prettier.

I understand if you are doing a solo build, or if there were not +3 con tomes.
I guess I am just sad that people are playin for the UBERMENCH in place of a well rounded character.

Welcome to MMO vs. PnP mindset. Substence beats style. AC is useless and HP rules.
Elves are pigeonholed into squishy Dex builds.
It is all garbage but some lemmings continue to run over that cliff.
FYI, I have 3 elves, Wizard, DPS TWF Fighter, and Spellsinger Bard and only one dwarf fighter.
I have seen the other extreme. Ministry on Thelanis has an elf for all occasions. He rolled his first non elf about a month ago as an experiment to see if WF racism really exist.

Speaking as someone who only makes female elves, I would like to see more elves running around as fighters and such....not just rogues, rangers, and casters.

There are elven fighters out there but to be honest ( deep breath ), you have two choices in this Min/max world.
Be yourself and play what you like, or go with the mathamatical max builds. A person that is a good player can make any build shine, but a person that doesn't want to think and plan will grab the build of the month and jump in.

For example, under the current enhansement sets, the best melee build will always be a dwarf. This is the common wisdom and they are easy to build and play with little planning or thought going into it. An elven melee can come close but is more gear, feat, and planning dependent. Some people just don't want to take the time to plan it out and then grind the needed gear. It is a sad statement of fact that the easy road is taken more often. Sigtrent has opened more than a few eyes with his "Request a build, get a build" thread in the class forum and the Elven Displacer Fighter thread in the fighter section has opened more. Unfortunately at this moment the ground rules we play under just make dwarves the kings of the melee hill.

As to Humans and WF, Humans are the most versitile race, none of the weaknesses but none of the strenghts of the other races. Almost any build can be converted to a human and really not loose too much at end game after Human Versitlity and Adaptability are considered. Warforged were shunned by most in the early days of the game but those few brave souls that stuck with them proved that they could work. As people are getting bored and wanting a new challenge, makeing a solid WF build has become more popular.

I challenge the OP to spend half an hour in front of the Lordsmarch bank after the Monk insanity ends and just soak in the deversity. You will see Elves, Drow, WF, halflings, humans and yes dwarves of all classes, makes and models. This is a beautiful thing. Everyone does not have to play an elf, what makes me mad is when someone tells you that your build is stupid just because you chose elf without looking at the details of the build and the abilities of the player.
