Hound Down !

Ok, that's a bit more fun that "just an oversized thaarak hound" even though they bear striking similarities.

Well, wasn't trying to say he didn't look cool. Just that he... was a big thaarak hound.

Definately was a little more... I dunno, Frankensteiny. The beholder outside the quest was saying that he was built as an experiment or something. Was a lot of lore to take in right at the foot of entering the quest.

Well, this isn't as easy as you think it is... at least for now. It takes a lot of coordination.

We failed for the second time, this time with a mostly pugged group... that was... interesting. There is a storm of Renders coming left and right, along with Mindflayers and beholders... and there is a little puzzle a la Titan to maintain and it's not easy... at least for now. Oh, and AoE spells can make you fail the raid. So far, it's a challenge.

It's a thrill that the Hound was defeated! I love that many guilds were part of the win; Yay for teamwork.

Do you mean he is immune to the "Burst" of plan old Acid Burst? Or do you mean he is immune to Disintegrate proc, Lignhtning Blast proc, etc (i.e. the "super" procs) ?

Bursts and Blasts work, but the procs he's immune to. Your 1000 dmg Lightning blast is a sparkler to him now

that could have been +1 hide armour, and I know alot of people who would still wear it Armour that basically gives you +4 to hit everything? hell yes!
