No u cant while "helpless" however you can fix it BEFORE you get to that point. Now will happen all the time for your monk? No, even I get tagged with a lot of stuff and become helpless.

How can I fix it beforehand if I am fine and then get hit with Ray of Enfeeblement which makes me helpless?

Well I really cant tell you other than make sure your str is above a 20... If you are in a quest that you KNOW u can get RoE, make sure you have some rage pots handy as well. Killing casters and moving also helps as it is a ray attack and you can manually dodge it, and as SOON as it hits get ur rear in gear and move and jump and pop the lesser restore pot. I'm not perfect I get caught time to time myself. Especially when you are facing mobs that can drain your strength and cast RoE.

Higher levels you can enforce this defense as your movement speed is pretty good. If you evade long enough, you can let RoE wear off and/or wait for the game abilty regen to kick in and then when your are not helpless start popping lesser restore pots.

Have you used a +2 str tome yet? If not get one... +6 str item and rage pots and if its really bad off you can go in to flame stance for +2 str.

Now the more you pump strength, even if its not 20, the less effect RoE will have on you. All it means that they actually have a chance to one shot incap you with RoE.

You need to make sure that you inventory is not going to weigh you down. Sell before going in. Sell between quests in a chain. Leave heavy armor in chests. Do not carry a ton of options. 10 STR is a liability. There is no save for RoE. They don't roll a to-hit. You just lose STR. You need to manage your carry weight before it becomes an issue. At your strength, picking up that +3 mithril full plate of false life from a chest could kill you before you can sell it.

Focus on STR boosting items. pots, house p buff, friends... gear.

buy a +2 tome from the store.

Your strength is 10 WITH a +2 item?
Are you in water stance? Or did you start with 8?

So, weapons that aren't monk weapons will uncenter you? What exactly does this mean in terms of your Wisdom bonus to AC and your Wind Stance? Do they go away?

Now about a muck bane quarter staff ...
At this time, a monk should really use his fists against a muck or ooze. They take no damage and thus do not need everbright to remain effective. That allows a suffix such as pure good or greater ooze bane to be present for better damage.

    Exclamation Not Centered

Hello!! i need help! I have a 4th level rogue, and it shows not centered. I do not understand why. My character has all the proficiencies of the weapons and armor he uses. won't even let you use a dagger!
the only way out of the not centered state is to leave him naked and unarmed. and he is not a monk
    what am I doing wrong?

    Thank you all!!

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.
