    Default spread too thin

    i think that you should just aim for 2 stances, do not spread yourself too thin

    monks might need to focus a little to be able to get to the base 18 for 2 stances

    i dabbled in air, but my build is human who will have 18 base str & wis to use highest fire & water

    Default stances

    The highest tier of stances is 3rd. You just need a base 16 in one of the 4 abilities.

    I sart with 16 str, 14 dex, 16 con, and 14 wis by 16th lvl my base stats are 16 across the board able to use all stances and specials i can.

    and you are sad that you are not able to have any at all when the base must be 18

    Tier 4 will require 18. Plan ahead or be left out.

    Right now, I'm debating whether or not to put 2 lvl ups into str to hit the base 18. I've got dex based halfling and will have base 18's in Dex and Wis. At 16, I should have with gear dex 26 and wis 28. My str would be 24 with gear and lvl ups. I'm leaning this way to swap out wind, fire or water depending on the combos that are the coolest.

    Here's the build that seeks to combine all stances, up to tier 4.
    (Of course not all 4 stances at the same time, but possible to choose any 2 as he wants)
    Even with STWF if it ever comes out till lv.20.

    Ooze: the Balanced. (All 4th Tier Stances and STWF if ever)

    15 in all major stats, go human, and loot/buy +1 tomes for three main stats.

    st 15 +1 level(4) +1 level(8) +1 tome 18
    dx 15 +1 human(5) +1 level(12) +1 tome 18
    cn 15 +1 human(10) +1 level(16) +1 tome 18
    ws 15 +3 class 18

    Now seach and hunt for +6 stat items, and with the free slots (psn, diseas, striding ect...) you should be able to pick and choose where you want to wear em. You will get 24 in all main stats. If you raid a bunch and pick up +3 tomes then that will give you an even 26.

    At least this is my plan, but I do worry about not having any 30's in my stats, but time will tell.

    Human Adaptability enhancement won't help you qualify for other enhancements.

    A +2 tome will, and by the time you're level 18 it won't be hard to get.

    I don't really get what you are saying, I understand (and I don't know human enhancements all that well) that if you take say Strength at level five, then at level 10 you have to take a different attribute to "enhance", anything but strength. So I am pulling +1 to dex and con. Is this not how it works?

    Once again, I have not leveled a human past 9, so I just don't know.

    Don't think those Enhancements will be counted as 'Base' stats.
    Only tomes will work as far as I know.
    So if you already made a toon with the stat above, you'll need +2 tomes on DEX/CON, +3 tome on WIS.

    I wanted to be air and fire, but I also want to be a halfling. so I cant get fire3. but this is what i can get (with minimal tomes)

    str 11 + 1(3) = 12(14) (+6)= 18/20(+5/6)
    dex 15 + 1 + 2 = 18 (+6) == 24 (+7)
    con 13 + 1 = 14 (+6 item) = 20 (+5)
    int 14 + 2 + 2 (lv4/8) ==.== 18 (+4)
    wis 13 + 3 + 2 + 2 (lv12/16) 26 (+8)
    cha 14 + 1 + 1 (+6) ===.== 22 (+6)

    monk13/pally3

    now thats fire 1 (2 if I get a +3 str tome), air 3, earth 2, and water 3.

    what should I do? max wisdom at 24 and use stat boosts 12 and 16 to bump fire into fire 3 range? (my race and calsses are permanent)
