So, does the monk # of attacks go up with unarmed or not?
Indel
Athealas - L20 Dr Cl, Indel - L20 Elf Rngr(ranged), Zirak - L20 Dw Barb(2WF), Axen - L13 Dw Barb(2HF), Aghilles - L20 H Ranger(Tempest), Ankalegon - L20 Dr Sorc, Ingole - L7 TR2X Drow Mage, Azealas - L18 Dr Cl, Kamaivin - L20 H Mo, Turaneuma, L13 Dr Mechanic Rogue
This is where my complaint with the implementation of Flurry of Blows comes into play. In PnP D&D, a monk can dual wield kamas and get two attacks at first level (at -2/-2) without taking TWF feats by using Flurry of Blows. That monk could do the same thing with his fists. This way, a monk attacks as fast and accurate as a TWF rogue, but without spending feats to get there (not to mention the fact that the unarmed monk ends up doing a base of 2d10 damage).
As it stands, there is no way to attack as fast with fists as you can with dual kamas, making fists practically useless in comparison.
Personally, I say that the monk needs to be able to dual wield fists using the TWF chain, because of the way that FoB was implemented. The whole point to being a 100% monk, in PnP, was that you got those incredibly high damage fists, and you attacked as fast as a TWF person with them. Without that, there are many fewer reasons to stay 100% monk, making the class much less exciting.
