Character Stuck!!!

Hey, someone help

I cant log in with some of my toons after a looooooooooong wait time on the loading screen, when I try to log in I get an error (will post it in a little)

Toons are:

Iluvathar
Tulkaz
Aurus

I could got in, I am sure I'll get the same error again, but what I did was to restart completely the client, not only close it, but close the launcher and make the client connect totally from scrath to the Turbine servers...

I could log back in with Iluvathar.

Why does the game keep crashing during character creation? Can't make a monk. Sorry, but I am not a system engineer and don't feel like reconfiguring my computer with every new update. PS3 is looking so attractive now... Total ball-droppage.

If you are crashing it could very well be due to old drivers or other software conflicts. PC's do require maintenance and updates frequently so it is always a good idea to at least check for updates every 3 months. If you continue crashing please post a dxdiag, thanks- in the mean time you can simply try resetting the graphics options via the launcher (click on the button with one arrow on the top right>options>repair>reset)

I doubt this is a driver issue, I've been seeing this too. Oddly, it's only with one particular character (my paladin).

Steps:
1) Load DDO
2) Select server (Thelenais)
3) Select character (Gunnet, lvl 16 Paladin)

Intermediate Result:
Hang on load screen. Progress bar does not move.

4) Ctrl-Shift-ESC. Nuke ddoclient.exe.
5) Repeat steps 1 - 3

Intermediate Result:
Generic error dialog. Says something to the effect of "An error has occured". Not at home right now to get exact text

6) Wait a few seconds, then try step 3 again

Result:
Character is able to log in

Hrmm, I fail to see the updates and fixes that were supposed to happen....

Login check...wait no not one character, error on login - or endless load screen
Try another character works for about 6 steps then rubber bands like crazy.
Try yet another character and they can't get the 6 steps before rubber banding.
Get logged in on another character...insane spam once the Aura of Good loads, apparently Drow Paladins are now immune to their own abilities - yay still can't move.

Before the nay sayers and CSRs jump in to blame the customer's product and not their own I'm used to such testing so... it's not an issue on my side, I can log my wife's account in fine on my computer and if I log in on her machine the issue duplicates.

If thats what happens, even when another account logs on fine, I have no explanation, you will need to contact in game support for assistance, if you can log on another character on another server, or if you have to use your wife's then please do so.

I am having the same problem. Seems random as far as I can tell, but started only after the latest update. I can't trigger it on purpose yet, it can happen anytime, even just switching characters. Very annoying.
