I've seen every rendition of monks named from a chinese food menu!

Does Flonk Kerplonk come with fried rice?

    ^^^^
My monk..definately not named after food.

He was named after a fine Qudeka Marshland dwarven tradition of flinging newborns into mud puddles and naming them after the sound they made. The Queseka dwarves are now all but extinct due to their newest tradition of body cleansing ritual which required them to cover themselves in tar and sit on special metal benches in the forge...It was a sad day...Too bad there were no witnesses to tell the tale...Except for Flonk, who crawled away at an inopportune time which resulted in him being raised by otters.

Flonk Kerplonk. He bounced... Therefore he was named Flonk Kerplonk.

And the naming ceremony in no way affected his inteligence...It is obviously a hereditary trait. No other tribe would fling babies to name them...
