It just chills on the very first splash screen for like 10 minutes. Then I'm able to input my user name and password and server. It them takes a long time for the Turbine animation to occur. I need help!!!!

If it does eventually get all the way through, then you may want to check any firewall/router settings - its possible that could be an issue (may have to remove and re-add firewall exceptions)
