Exactly... I think if you're Way of the Tiger or Shark Teeth Punching with your Monk... that means your weapon damage should be piercing and instead of lame-o handwraps you should have various puncturing type hand "accentuators". Spiked brass knuckles, claw wraps, and if a bard is playing the X-men cartoon theme song behind you - wolverine wraps of puncturing.
