    Thumbs up LOTRO broke DDO!

Let me preface this by saying the problem now seems fixed. This post is for informational purposes only.

I am a new subscriber to LOTRO and have been playing DDO for over a year. After playing on LOTRO for a few days, I found my DDO (and Risia) launcher was stuck on "Examine Programs" and would just hang there. I tried everything in DDO's Knowledge Base to no avail. Luckily, I found this post on the Codemasters Forum. It was a relatively quick and easy fix. Again, Thank you Ponzo!

Holy ****, I think I love you. I tried every other solution and nothing seemed to work, this one worked like a charm. I copy and paste here so others dont have to dig

Its the .dll libraries which the lotro update screws up by the look of it.

Go into your install directory for DDO (in my case it was: 'C:\Program Files\Turbine\Dungeons & Dragons Online - Stormreach').

Execute the 'TurbineRegisterGDF.exe' program you see there and press the confirmation buttons as they pop up. If you have been messing around running the lotro/ddo clients you may get a message saying that one of the .dll libraries cannot be uninstalled properly. Don't worry about it.

Restart DDO launcher, and let it get updates (if necessary for you).
