    Default inferno change

    Here's one more little suggestion:
    Any effects in Ascension Chamber that cause spellpoint loss should instead debuff you to lose spellcasting ability for 5-15 seconds.

    That way, the overall gameplay intent is fulfilled ("You can't cast spells through Inferno"), but a character who gets stuck in the Inferno while the rest of the party escapes to come and rez him later isn't totally empty and forced to suck pots to get back to contributing.

    I actually think the SP drain effects are reasonably important to the raid.

    They make the Phasing Wraiths relevant. Really relevant.

    If they took away your casting ability for a substantial time they would be relevant in a similar way, except that it wouldn't be possible for someone to keep casting simply by spending potions. He'd be a noncaster for 15 seconds regardless, meaning its still important that someone protect him by defeating the wraiths.

    I have refrained from doing this raid due to the 3 puzzles and only the 3 puzzles. If they were taken out and placed into a different area, or required only for a bonus chest and strictly only a bonus chest, they would oft get ignored, bypassed, or otherwise disused, and the Abbott Raid would be run a lot more often.

    Puzzles need to go. Simple. Easy. Done.

    This would make the Inferno a guaranteed party wipe, if you aren't on the ice platform.

    270 damage per tick + no healing, no res = splat.
