Favor reward & opening quests

I know this has gone around before, but I'd like to mention it again.

What about setting up a favor reward for 2000 or 2250 and have one of the rewards being the ability to auto open all quests below a certain level. For example, maybe all 12 and below quests can be opened on elite by all account characters once you hit 2250 on a character.

It would have to be somewhere along 2500-3000 favor since the max right now is over 2600 (probably close to 2700 with the new quests coming in mod7).

Then again, if you have a ton of favor to get a favor reward, wouldnt you already be able to open just about any quest on elite? Or do you mean make it an account wide option that once one character hits a certain favor, then all characters can thereafter open everything on elite?

The later. The idea is that if you are enough of a favor hound to get 2250 or 2500 favor you have mostly likely done everything on elite anyway. Who wants to run catacombs n/h/e for the 10th time... just let me open it on elite with any of the characters on that account.

Chain quests and a few others like the bounty hunter do not readily allow you to use an "opener" to get the quest open on elite.

Something I just thought of is a possible side effect of this is folks with twinked out 32 pt builds would have the option to go straight to elite while they level... maybe less concern over how "easy" normal is since they'll neve play the low level stuff on normal again... /shrug maybe...

Reading this my gut was telling me there is a Favor reward coming soon. But then again, it might just be wishful thinking.

Personally I wouldn't find such a reward to be much useful when I have so much favor I can open pretty much everything on elite already, save for a few quest chains I can easily do while leveling up. I'd rather have someting more interesting...
