eyes are getting tired but correct me if I'm wrong, monks must be lawful, bards must be chaotic... mutually exclusive.

Well, non-lawfull for bards at least. Thanks for reminding me, I wasnt looking forward to rerolling my bard

Regardless of the alignment issues, way of the clever monkey is +1 haggle, +1 saves vs. traps, and +2 innate stackable elemental resistances (all 5 of them).

Air Pos Air = Reduced Spell Cost For Casters
Earth Pos Earth = Cleansing(Immunites - Stun,Daze,Hold,Charm,Etc.)
Air Neg Air = Blind
Pos Pos Pos = Mass CLW
Neg Neg Neg = Cursed Healing(Reduces Healing Effectiveness On Target)

since Turbine still has not released many facts, i looked up standard ddo monks on the internet

lawful is a must so there goes my monk/barbarian

anyway, i think the best monks are going to be pure & i hope that the devs follow pnp & stop any multi-classers from taking more monk levels

considering the aesthetic feat line from the Complete Adventurer, Complete Scoundrel, & Secrets of Sarlona (which also has Tashalatora another cool monk feat), and the Monastic Training feat from Eberron Campaign Setting (plus a couple other cool feats that allow for martial weapons to receive the Flurry of Blows/Unarmed attack bonus)

No, monks don't get toughness enhancements - or at least I couldn't find them, and didn't have any options to pick them any time up to level 6 (as far as I've got).

Way of the tortoise has the same effect as toughness line, at rank 4 gives a total of 50hps.

I haven't taken them so I can't say for sure but someone else posted on another thread that the extra hp from tortise didn't stack so was only 20 hp with 4 ranks. And while monks might not get a toughness line I'm still personally glad it's a bonus feat. Dwarf monks will be grateful also I'm sure.
