    Default Wiz vs Sorc

I'm at level 6 on my new warforged wizard. I'm starting to wonder if I would have been better off with a sorcerer though. I've got a +1 arcane sigel docent of moderate fortification. That would make having the wizard feats for the mithral body feat nice. I also wouldn't mind having the insightful reflexes feat. Anyway, I guess my main concern is running out of mana all the time. Is that a problem for wizards end game?

No, it's not, but that depends on what you want to do. If you feel like killing every single monster in the quest by yourself, then Yes, running out of spells should be a serious concern. But if you have other players to help you, or have ways to avoid fighting everything, then it's fine.

For an end-game example, look at Shroud part 1. There are around 60 monsters, so it would require 2400 spellpoints to cast Finger of Death on each one. A sorcerer might be able to do that, but a wizard can't (without drinking Mnemonic Potions). However, a wizard can use 1200 sp to cast it on half the monsters, which considering you're in a raid with 11 other people is about all that you'd have a chance to reach before someone else gets it first.
