If they're using Risia as they did previously... then if there's no major bugs found by Risia... I'd expect monks on *drum roll*: Monk Week... next week.

Druids have always been the neutral aligned class. Maybe they required TN at some variation of the game. These days they're any alignment that has "neutral" in it. Getting to level 4 flys by in one or two waterworks runs. You could probably even make the character on Risia without too much time loss and see how you like it.

I've always associated Lawful with Paladins and hence with tanking/AC. Dunno why Lawful would equate to unsurvivability... just because they can't use "stability items"? Stability becomes pretty worthless after L7 or so despite its nice cost/benefit ratio.

I'm not saying it exists but I knew someone who had a robe of greater stability that had +10ac/+10saves. If that item does exist, it would be a great thing to use with a neutral toon.

Aren't they supposed to bring out druids next? Maybe I'll save my toon for that. Anyways made a new toon just for the alignment but this time am going 3rgr to start. I has the wands and pretty dangerous for ranged. It's melee isn't bad, but like the neutral, it's never going to be a main tank.

Lol, what game was that? Greater Stability is +4/+4. An item with +10/+10 bonus would be some kind of epic level.

And not getting the special effect from CLR4 alignment spell like Chaos Hammer, Order's Wrath, Holy Smite, Unholy Blight, also not getting -2 penalty on DC with any enemy with Protection From Good. As a cleric, you also able to cast all CLR4 alignment spell by been true neutral.

Of course it has it's drawback, but that's another story

But then again, this is DDO... and as for the rules, I believe 1.1 or there abouts had monks as true neutral. But it does make it necessary to have 3 levels of paladin and at least one level of cleric to keep the weak monk class from doing too much damage to itself.
The fact that a monk must be lawful is common DnD knowledge, and has been stated many times by players here on the forums. Don't blame the game for your lack of research.

So, you can have other classes with the monk, but not lvl in them after taking your first monk level.... do you think this will work in DDO?
DDO does not observe those rules for the paladin class, so they also will not observe them for monks.
