People have a use for bugs in that part??

Bah, a single cleric can solo that entire battle on elite. What's the point....

Now I'm confused, bug at the end of devils, or bug in the middle of devils? Which are we talking here....

I'd guess he's talking about someone talking to the end dude, and using a ddoor to get out, so the party can fight one-on-one, and then they lost one of em...

Just a guess, as I've seen it before.

According to the PM, speaking generally, it's the one where casters stand in a certain spot in a certain cave to avoid aggro. Haven't seen it used much, surprise people still try it.

    Default Using a DD?

And now how is that an exploit? Like Aspenor said, anytime he's been gone on my runs you can easily find him at the beginning of the quest.

If this is what I think it is, it falls under "using terrain" and not "exploit".

Small things have been using tight spaces to stay out of the reach of big things since there were, well, things.

this thread, as most of the "stop exploiting" threads, will not make a difference at all and is just another rant from the op.

RWD can be run in 20 minutes with a competent group. If someone in the party suggests using a known scripting issue to beat the quest, then why not just drop and do something else ? This is the main reason why I hardly join shroud pug groups anymore.

If it involves going to the cove on the left as you enter the main room and jumping up on the ledge there. That is not an exploit. That is just useing terrain to your advantage and if the devs considered it an exploit then they would not have put things like this in there or make it so you could not jump up. However I have never seen this bug any of the bosses out. But I agree by the time you get to the red named devils you have already completed the hardest part of the quest.

That's a pretty skilled cleric to do that.

Have seen it soloed on hard, and have seen parties wipe on hard when the same player (who I recognise as a very skilled player) tried the same strategy and failed.

Now, if only I had a Cleric with Maximize, Empower and maxxed Wisdom, I'd give it a shot.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I guess so. It's really just making sure the cleric knows their stuff, and I guess build might be another factor. Maximized/Empowered/Extended blade barriers, made sure not to intersect which invalidates the intersection zone from doing damage, and Quicken Spell for ensured healing and reapplication of the blade barriers.

Give him a little support from the arcane with stoneskin, sonic resistance, greater heroism, haste and displacement and it's pretty much a breeze (assuming your noob friend of a cleric realizes when he's not running through his own blade barrier....NICK....roflmao).

Running a group through a quest and running a quest solo is two totally different things and different play styles are used. Just because a person that can solo something does not guarantee that they can get a group through just as easily.

Sure they can. You just tell the rest of the group to go get a sandwich and a beer while you finish up the quest.

If you're going to invite people along, then solo the quest, you should provide the sandwiches and beer.
