update problem

i was having real bad problems with my ddo so i decided to uninstall and reinstall the game, ive tried to do it from the discs along with the download on the site, but when i get it downloaded and it begins to examine the game data then update the game data it says it that the launcher has been updated and needs to restart but when it tries to restart i get this message: Failed to restart the launcher, error 2: the system cannot find the file specified. and if i try to re open ddo its just does the same thing over and over, ne1 have ne ideas as to what might have happened?

When you reinstalled did you have a security(antivirus) program running? Also try going into the ddo folder and then the backup folder and copy all the files there then paste them into the main ddo directory then try playing again.
