No loot weekends......

I am a bit dissapointed that we on argo havent had a loot weekend in almost a year now..... Other servers have but not us......
I am also not very happy with the GM when they tell you you cant put up an lfm to trade things, as if it hurts the system or something.
It doesnt do any such thing. In fact us having to come here is down right to long of an effort to see in these massive forums. It doesnt hurt the economy in the game to do so. It just cuts out the dumb AH fees. Like they need the money from them transactions....

the only server that has had a +1 Loot when the others haven't is risia. risia is not a normal server and the character get reset, so +1 loot table means apsolutely nothing there. Also everytime they do a =1 loot week end its screws up the tables and the chests are spitting out cr*p for weeks after (or atleast it seems that way).

as for the lfm trade its fricken annoying. thats what the ah and the forum market are for learn to use them.

Yeah...no other servers have had a loot weekend. I'm not sure who told you that, but he was wrong.

Using the LFM to trade is another story, I think it really is annoying to have LFM's regarding trades. Trading is easily accomplished on the forums and I hate having a bunch of LFM's that arent looking for members. I do not disagree the AH system could use a little revamp but leave the LFM's for quests. I report them whenever I see them.

No need for a +1 loot weekend - if you need +1 loot, just run the vale quests on hard instead of normal

I think the OP is referring to a recent event on the European servers due to a two day outage when a backup failed and the newest restore tape was a day and a half old, causing an involuntary rollback of all player characters to the previous day's levels and loot.

btw, the lfm should be used specifically for grouping folks. I think it's more of a nip it in the bud policy. If one person starts doing that, then another and another. Next thing you know, you'll be waist deep in lfm trades. At least thats what I think Turbine is thinking.

Bad info. Nobody has had a loot weekend. And why do you need a +1 loot weeken, run Vale Quests.



And thank god they do not allow trade LFM's. Its annoying. When I look at LFM I dont want to filter through looking for trades vs groups. I would support a new tab for trading though completely. For now use your forum marketplace, or general chat in Meridia.

It's annoying, its against the rules, and if they didn't stop it we'd have pages of trades and couldn't find actual quest LFMs, good on the GMs for shutting it down.

As many have said, wrong on the loot weekends. Considering I started over on this server and still think we don't need em.....(yea I think they break the game that much)

And you already can a) pay the AH fee or b) use the handy section of the forum set up for trading I'd say leave the LOOKING FOR GROUP/ LOOKING FOR MORE sections of the game to their intended purpose so I don't have to see that message, "looking to trade +3 Longsword of Excrement" that you want to trade because you did not get another +1 loot weekend......

You are mad they said you could not abuse the LFM for advertising? Personally I report every single LFM seller I see as soon as I see them. Glad to hear the GM is doing his job.

Ok i see, Well the +1 loot thing being not good for the servers, i didnt no this, i dont no everything. I was refering the the over seas servers! TY, even though it was due to a faulty miss hap. We have had such miss haps inthe states, one time. We did not get a loot weekend. I used to enjoy them is all. The lfm thing to me is easier then all the options, a the forums which are MASSIVE and you dont always get a responce, and the AH fee is to expensive. Between that fee and the repair blls hard to stay in the money. [nom nom nom]. Have a good holiday weekend all.
