    Hm

While it is silly that the person doesn't use rage... I'm working on a build similar to this where the whole point of the build is to make people wait around for rage to wear off

Why bother? I'd rather use a potion while in mid-rage.

The build was centered around a low base con score so rage duration would last approximately the same as divine favor / divine power.

Rage would be dismissed to either raise dead / UMD heal scrolls / etc.
Massive melee potential combined with rogueliness and all the necessary cleric bandaids is nice.

I'm having a hard time understanding why you think about CLW?
Cure critical would be the only "heal" spell on the hotbar, maybe a CSW wand, and a stack of heal scrolls.

Understood; But how many times do you think you'll be doing that between shrines vs. how many rages do you plan on having? I'm seeing you get a couple seconds to a minute of rage at a time in end game content, and then your melee being supar until the next shine.

PS; Not being condesending here ( I know text doesn't convey tone ), just having a hard time seeing how such a build would function ( i.e. what role do you plan on playing in the party? ).

You guys are to caught up in classifying everyone into roles IMO.

But if it helps......he's just like any other Ftr/Brb......except he can cast his own lesser restores when his rage wears off and heal himself up between fights.

    5 Rages at current cap

    Each lasting
    30 seconds + (7 x 6) = 1 minute 12 second base rage without any extend rage enhancements

Once rages wore off divine power would fill the gap for the lack of BaB and other buffs would still apply to help with to-hit.

He'd only be missing out on +3 to hit / dmg if out of rages. I don't see how that makes melee "subpar"

It's essentially a joke for a build but I don't see the need to determine what role it fills. Melee I guess if you will.

Without any buffs/rage whatsoever and a masterwork weapon it sits at +21 to hit (13 bab / +8 str mod)
All of these would be self cast via Spell point pool or scrolled UMD

    Greater Heroism +4
    Divine Power +3
    Divine Favor +2
    Rage Spell +1
    -------------------
    31 to-hit w/o Barb rage
    34 to-hit w/ Barb rage

This isn't including other buffs like bard songs and madstone boot clickies.

I nominate myself. I've never seen anyone else get killed by a pillar in the Titan room.

    Couple of entried for here

Someone in party while in dungeon asked the command to kill themsleves.

Noob typed in /death in party chat, without realising what he had done.

Also and experienced campaigner was guiding a Rainbow first timer through quest, and stressing the point of not walking on the buttong in the middle of corridor cus it spawns a nasty fire trap. 5 mins later, said experienced campaigner walks on the button in the middle of the corriodor, spawning a nasty fire trap......
And on the eigth day god went for a beer.

And on the ninth day he was still in the pub with his mates, and is going to be in big trouble when Mrs god finds him.

I've heard of someone with a vicious great axe knocking himself out on one of the pillars during a Dragon raid.

Those pillars are dangerous it seems.
