    Default Respect!

ok another rant from me. respect. 7 letters, full of meaning. so what is it exactly?

shroud group lfm, another forms looking for 1-3 crafting run. the leader of the crafting run starts sending the 1st group tells asking each member to join his group. respect the other group, proaching is bad form. if you cant fill you group, acting so sneakily wont help either.

    you just lost my respect..........
If you want to know why...

Different problem, same subject.. Last night about 4 of us KotA were looking to join a Shroud run. We would of been bringing some of our best people. I ask the raid leader if its ok to bring in a Wiz, Clr, Rog, and Rgr. He looks in the who panel and sees the guild name and says he's never grouped with us and he only raids with people he knows. I explain that were founders, and basically we got shot down. Ouch! I know KotA is not a bigg or very active guild, and some may question our skills, but come on we can't be that bad. I guess our low activity level is catching up with us, but I am wondering if his raid ever got filled. To not know someone and not risk whatever it is he would of lost by running with us, is/was it worth not meeting us? Just odd and not sweating over it too much. I can join other pugs to wipe in. Just trying to figure out how I can earn respect if no opportunity avails itself.. Hmm maybee things will be better when I can play a Monk..

if you would just change your no cheese runs to a different day (say sunday and wednesday) i can add 2 to your list for a dedicated group.

    Litz,

I'm trying super hard to get my DPS Barb to Shroud level, he is currently 9.1, and will be 12 by the end of the weekend.

Count me in for your no cheese shroud runs soon.

But in a pinch, you can ask me to pop on with Saaren, and I'll help when I can Sir.

Does anyone even do cheese runs anymore? Seemed like that ended the second week of release.

Right I too have not seen any cheese'd runs latley. However now that I was excluded from a raid based on my guild name, makes me wonder if they still exist, but just went under-ground. Over-all the Khyber population is a good bunch of people.

My name is Litz and I support this message...

    Default Yep yep

I could not agree more. Poaching is bad form. I have been suprized even in my own guild at seen new players doing this. It is the responisbility of long standing players and Guild leadership to curb these type of trends from our newer players. It is not a fun task, but the same new players that you gave that first vorp to will respect and fall in line remarkably well when tactfully reproached of this type of behavior. We all have done things that the game is better off without, but it is the experiance players responsibilty to pass on basic game etiquite and new players responibility to be open to the ideas. From my experiance though, esp in guild, this has been easier than I would have guess initally, as long as you have previously taken an interest in newer players "under your care."
Varr's all over. Cannith Varr getting the love currently.
