Default Dragon touch rune of invulnerability

Please add the invulnerability option to a rune for dragon touched armor crafting.

It falls in place and power with most of the other options that you can already get on the armors. With the introduction of grazing hits this would be a nice option to help players cope with the damage.

Which rune to put it on is the question. Before the introduction of glancing blows the dr5/magic would have been a good eldrich rune but now may rate tempest rune status. Wishfull thinking and very nice would be dr5/- as a soverign rune.

before that happens though, i'd rather they put in a better way of doing DT armor instead of always lottery

Not particularly happy about the lottery either but plenty of threads complaining about that. Was trying to suggest something usefull that may benifit some people with some of the upcoming changes.

I haven't personally tested this, but I thought Invulnerability is worthless at level 16?

I have tested it, and it makes no difference above level 12 or so in appropriate level quests. If you want to run lower level quests that you missed or just for fun, it can make a huge difference.

I don't think it makes sense as an option for DT armors as it isn't level appropriate or useful.

No but an adamantine rune DR 3/adamantine would be cool.

first, its freaking grazing hits, not glancing blows. glancing blows exist at least since mod3

second, dr/magic is useless as dt as every mob save maybe mephits use magic weapons

a DR of 5/adamantine might make sense or simply 5/- as this is currently the highest level armor in the game and should have commensurate stats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all it takes to bypass Invulnerability is a magic weapon... such as a +1 longsword.

I guess I'd assume the high level mobs we encounter today have all found at least one +1 weapon. Wouldn't that make the option of Invulnerability on near-end game armor quite useless?
