    Default bloodstone v. w/p

what is the worth of a bloodstone in comparison to that of a w/p weapon?

    less, equal, more

the bloodstone is clearly valuable, but i think that w/p weapons are currently the most desired items in the game for most players

i do not think that i would trade my bloodstone for a w/p weapon, but i might be wrong

this assumes that it would take a long time to get another bloodstone & that the person hates farming the desert

Well...you can farm for the bloodstone no matter how frustrating it is. A wp is pure luck.

    Default yes

    i am serious

the bloodstone works with every single weapon vs. just the w/p weapon (assume no bloodstone)

obviously, w/p plus bloodstone is the best

    i meant to say:

"Would you rather have a bloodstone or a w/p weapon equipped (no bloodstone is equipped when you are armed with the w/p)?"

w/p especaly if it was a rapier for witch i coudl turn around and trade for a bloodstone and a pile of other great stuff, I have nither and i want both dispite farming the desert till I'm rdy to puke when I zone out there if i got a w/p rapier fro eg I;d be tempted to trade it even though I really want one simply because I could get a lot of other anoying to get stuff all at once for it

Default makes a lot of sense

i hate that desert farming, i ransacked those chests for months & never got a bloodstone

anyway, i will keep my bloodstone & if i ever find a w/p rapier, i am going to get very virtually wealthy overnight

w/p is superior because if you are using them seeker damage doesn't matter, and if you can't confirm crits, well nvm that part. If you only have one w/p and you need seeker, you can just equip seeker-x of puncture, just as effective.

Seeker makes all on crit effects more potent. On things which have a high AC or a character with a lower to hit, this is a huge plus.

Bloodstones sell quickly for around 500-700kpp on thelanis, with many people trying to get 1 million pp or more from them.

W/p rapier is worth way way more. Shortsword or dagger a decent amount more (say 2x) to about the same, depending on the person and the rr if any. A pick is worth less.

That said, I would never trade a bloodstone for a w/p because I would want both, and I HATE farming the desert. They are good for different things, and also augment each other.

Now playing on Thelanis because Turbines loves to nerf things.

    Default ??

I would trade a bloodstone for a w/p any day of the week. For most melee classes the crit confirmation is not that important. With a BAB for a level 16 melee, hitting and confirming is very rarely an issue. Like it was said earlier, w/p weapons are a pure luck pull, where as u know exactly where to find the bloodstone. If u run that enough, u r gonna pull 1 at some point.

I wouldn't trade a w/p weapon for a bloodstone unless there was a lot, I mean a lot more in the trade for me.

    Just fyi
