Default Can we get some Barbers in stormreach?

I really don't like my Cleric's hairdo. Surely there's a barber in town he can pay to have it cut, even shaved?

Kate Paiz doesn't believe that the players really want any barber shop. A few of us have said "yes we do!!!!" but, apparently we are still quite in the minority.

Every game should have one! Even if it's just a hair / facial hair color and model changer, and you are stuck with the rest of your appearance.

IT would be nice wouldn't it. But why should they focus on something that adds customization and supports immersion?

Could even make further enhancements to the way you look perhaps for attaining a certain level of favor, like 350 unlocks new Facial hair/scars, 700 unlock new hair styles, 1000 perhaps new mouths and noses, 1700 unlocks hair colors, and then you could start all over again by unlocking even more with higher Favor ratings.. and make it cost.. sure the first time is only 100 plat.. but that is to change just one thing.. you change two.. and heck you make one of them a special favor unlocked one.. dumb a few k plat into it.. i would pay.. hell i would more then likely do it often, as i am always trying to get armor to match my character.. now i would just need to match my character to my armor

I totally totally totally /SIGN this.

I thought the bald skinny purple elf thing was a neat idea at the time; but now...

It's pretty embarassing that DDO has almost no character customisation when UO had it a decade ago.

I like the idea of tying a barber to minor favor improvements; they're still looking for favor milestones, right?

Making us pay an ever-increasing value would get annoying as all get out, though. Flat fee.

And so do most of the people I've spoken to in-game who do not visit these forums for various reasons.

Granted, I like this idea. BUT, there are so many other areas that need to be worked on first.

I'm all for being able to change my chars appearance, at least the hair. Favor or plat requirements are fine...so long as we can do it. :-)

Lets not limit it to hair/facial customizations. Why not dyes and such for clothing/armor and weapons?
