Fashion Sense - Request

I have bought a few helmets this past week and thought the wear appears rather sucks. I got this helm that adds Wisdom, feeling fairly jazzed to increase my primary stat, but realize it looks like a tupper ware bowl with fins sitting on my head...!!! I'm not normally vain in how my characters look but seriously, could DDO find some better color sequencing to the wearable equipment or design to them that doesn't look like a bowl with an icon stappled to the top. One of the funner aspects of playing an MMO is to at least have your character look cool with available choices.

I understand their aways looking for feedback (I"m guessing by hosting forums) so I thought I'd add my request here.

That's the end of my petty rant. Also, I'll give my due apologies if this is a repeat request.

This has been requested a few times. . . But, once again, I'd love to see it. :3

I think some of the items actually look good. . . It's just the color schemes that get me. And when you try to wear them at the same time, you kinda look like you got dressed in the dark. :x

I like making my character look good, and wear good equipment at the same time. I know it's also been suggested before, but being able to change the colors on your equipment would rock.

I totally agree with being able to change our appearance and that of our clothes/armor.

But in the meantime here is a little tidbit that does wonders when I get a crappy looking helm with good stats...

It allows you to keep the stats on your head without having to physically see the helmet. Kinda like turning it invisible.

With crafting supposedly taking a larger role in the game, I'm hoping that we will soon have the ability to alter the way our gear looks. It's been a request since beta, and one that a lot of people find to be a source of great frustration with the game.

I'd also like to see a barber come to town... but that's probably asking too much.

I feel your pain sindaleas. Before /showhelmet off, I NEVER wore a helmet. Ever. EVEREVEREVEREVERNEVER.
