This week's WDA?

I know I probably missed the notification that there is some holiday or staff vacation but ... where is this week's Weekly Development Activities? As much as I am looking forward to Mod 7, I hope the answer for the missing WDA post is that they are working on the issues introduced by the latest patch and don't have time for Mod 7 stuff.

Well it's up, it's closed for comments and it's extremely thin on new entries. I hope that means we are getting a post that Risia is being updated in the next day or two.

Nothing really new. So the hotfixes either totally derailed things or they are busy in QA, and prepping Mod 7 for Risia.

Really weird that's it's closed and not stickied. Of course looking at what's been added, it's all severely disappointing. Really nothing at all interesting, especially considering it was 2 days late.

Nothing new of serious note in the updated WDA anyway. Usually that means things are getting close to release and testing.

It was late because Quarion was "out of the office" (aka SLACKING JK Q) last week, and also because of all the work they have to do with the server issues recently.

This is the standard for the development cycle. Later WDA's closer to mod date have less additions. Soon we should be gettting the First Look methinks.

Wishful thinking really. It's still only April, and lately all Mods have been released towards the end of the designated month. So we still have a good few weeks to go.

And really, where's all the other Monk stuff, such as Enhancements? And what about feats? There isn't a single new feat on the WDA besides the monk-specific ones. And not a single new spell either.

I kinda forgive Q for being late with the WDA since he was out of the office. But with still several weeks to go before Mod 7 is released, I expect a bit more than just some few tweaks and bug fixes.

Based on Paiz's public comments, I predict Mod 7 in May. That's not "a good few months to go." Perhaps you meant weeks.

Mod 7 was targetted for April/May, and I have seen no communication to the contrary, as Moore says.

I'd expect maybe a first look next week, and a Risia load following that. Hopefully get in almost a month of pre-live testing in.
