Lost Character Slot!

Yesterday, I attempted to reroll My 1st level cleric after I realized a major flaw in the characters design (when will I learn to NOT make character's at 2am after drinking all night?), and after I deleted her, *D'oh!* no "create" button was active! Now, I need to say that I had an "extra" slot because I got 2 characters to 1750 back when that automatically opened up another slot (before they changed it to only one), and I recently rerolled another character (about 3 weeks ago) with no problem. So after all this time, Turbine decides to take away my extra slot? Man, itz suxorz!!!!!!111one!!!!!

Has this happened to anyone else recently?

It's a known bug. You should be able to get a GM, or somebody, to fix it.

How many slots do you have?

log out of game ....log back in....log out ....log in.....at one point it will open the spot back up ...there is a glitch

Just log-in and back out with your 1750 favor charachter....the create button should be lit up....hopefully.....

Ohhh that's right, that was the fix.

When this happened to me I went to nyx again w/ a character w/ 1750 favor and talked to him again. Opened it up.

I have just had the same thing happen to me. About two weeks ago I rolled up a WF barbaraian (he likes robots) for my son to play with bringing up my total character slots to 10. Just this weekend I deleted a level 14 fighter (non-1750 favor) that I no longer play and was going to roll another character and was unable to. I tried logging in each of my 3 1750 favor characters and I'm still unable to create a character. Any suggestions on this, or was it a bug that allowed me to roll the WF Barb 2 weeks ago?

If your 14th character was from another server when the servers merged he dosent take up one of your slots. However if you delete one of those transfer characters you dont get to keep that essentially free slot.

Max characters on a single server is 9. There are reasons you could possibly have more, but if you delete your 10th you will not be "opening" another slot, just deleting a "bonus" slot.

*If you had other characters from the merge, they can stay. But they cannot be rerolled. Thus it is not actually a slot, but a "bonus".
*If you do a character transfer, the same rule applies as if it were a server merge.

Well, I guess I am screwed up then because I transferred my original 1750 character to another server :-(

Looks like my 10th Slot is gone as well..... Had a 10th that was waiting for execution... Deleted her, and no Create button.... Logged out and in a few times, talkd to nyx withmy original 1750 char.. no dice....

So if your in the same boat (You have a Mystery 10th slot) DONT reroll.

(I rerolled anotehr character just last week so I did have 10 active slots until VERY recently)

Yup, me too.......It just peeves me a bit because I worked kinda hard to get the extra slot at the time, (getting 2 characters to 1750 before they nerfed the extra slot) and it makes me wonder: Why now?
