Games Times out after Character Selection

I just checked into a Double Tree Hotel, and have tried connecting to the game. I am able to log in just fine, but soon after I select my character, the game times out on the loading screen. I contacted the Hotel's Internet help desk and they said that they do not block any ports.

Any ideas what is causingthe game to time out? Yeti do you have any suggestions?

NOTE: I have not changed any settings at all on my computer and it works just
fine at home and at other hotels.

Honestly it is probably the hotel network security and/or firewall. Unfortunately this is very common and if you are playing in a hotel and your computer has worked fine everywhere else, it is still most likely an issue with their network and you will want to talk to their network supplier.

Called them, and they said everything should be fine, but I'll give them another call.

I called the Hotel's Network Help Desk once again, and this time I lucked out and got someone knowledgable. It was a probleming with NATing, basically my computer thought my IP was address and the rest of the world saw me at another address. The Tech Guy fixed it so that my computer saw the real IP address. And now I'm playing!
