Fun run last night Exodus

Just wanted to give you some props for a fun Reaver run last night guys.

That is the way it should be done everytime. So much more fun for everyone.

Bury the one-tank method its just boring as hell for the 11 people crouched in the archway. Most people are geared light-years past when that raid was implemented anyway, no need for tactics anymore let's just roll in like the 800lb gorillas we are and smack him around a bit

Want to try this strategy sometime.

If you find the raid is too dull using the standard tactic, try going in as a caster and hitting the Reaver with a maximised, extended Melf's Acid Arrow, and watch the tank try to keep aggro . It'll be a more fun run, and noone will notice that you are being a tard if there's 4 or more arcane casters in there.

Melfs is particularly good as it lasts for ages, and is nearly invisible when in the air.

I agree, much more fun to UNLEASH HELL on him!

I just wish I could convince more of the Puggies to try it. People are stuck in the archway method though, since it works.

Oh well, we will just have to get the Legion together with Exodus more often for the fun, crazy, speed runs.

Glad we could entertain someone. Most puggers get very angry when we don't do the reaver the "right" way. I don't know how many times I've heard "You know this is a lot easier if.....". Why take something that can be fun for everyone and reduce it to a quest where 9 of the 12 party members pike for 10-15 mins.

Look us up next time you guys are running and need some spots filled, definitely won't get any complaints from any members of the Burning Legion.

Well when I dont feel like pugging the beatdown method is by far the better way of doing it.
I give props to the Exodus guild for showing everyone else that Reaver can be fun for more than
just the casters.
However I now have to run reaver before or after dinner time.Was nice to eat and watch
everyone else do the work So Dam you Exodus you just took away my food time:/

I was on vacation (watching me play DDO is NOT a vacation for the wife....lol, so we had to travel) and Ro is off piddling around with AoC (he got one of the early release codes), and lots of the other boys have been saddled with work. That and the mid-release doldrums (got everything but Abbot mastered and they've all got their tier-3 toys). So everyone is chillin' waiting on Mod7, messin' with some experimental lowbie builds and doin' the family thing so we can dedicate our lives to the new material.

Hey, maybe we should link up with you guys on release and knock out this challenge thing to unlock the raids?
