Chat Issues

After reseting Chat displays on 1 of the accounts im using(gf's account), text is always sent to general chat even when typed in party or guild chat. I logged onto my account and it works fine, so the issue isnt client side as far as a port setting. I searched for a thread related to this but couldnt find and didnt see anything in the FAQ. If I type /p it will send it to party chat, so its not reading the chat input boxes seperately or something. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Try I think its right clicking on the relevent tabs name and you should get options including set incoming text type, and set outgoing text type...

You'll find after a chat reset most of these options under those sub headings will be ticked. Just click on the one you want to remove and the tick should disappear and you'll stop seeing that type on text in that chat tab
