Default QOL (Quality of Life) Ideas

Okay basically Quality of Life ideas are those that are not game breaking, bugs, broken, or fixes. These would be enhancements to the game that would probably most likely take place in spare developer time (ha!)

So to start with some of the common things:
A search feature in the Auction House in addition to the level filter and buyout only options
A way to auto-sort our inventory by level, value, or type of item.
    Teleports to Meridia

Those are just a few I can think of at the moment that I'd like to see "worked on" at some point.

    Lockable Inventory Space
Inventory and Bank item log export feature
Show crit range on weapon inspection instead of just inventory panel
    RSS Auction House Feed
Auto-Follow, Auction History, and a few new timer/clock slash commands
Ability to Export the combat log / parse data
Ability to lock an entire pack in your inventory
In game web-browser and character planner
Transferable UI layout from character to character + others
House Buff UI Change Request (Buy all!)
    Scaling Hotbars
    Shared Bank Slots
    Game Wide Communications
    Mentor / Side Kick Feature
    Character Sheet Export
Better Info for the Party list
    Auction Channel (Non Auction House)
Color WF health bars different, Auto-use skills (open lock / disable) on double click
More detail party window / Ability to combine low charge wands
    Fix Anon & Dark Sky
Unlock 32 Point builds @ account level instead of server level when hitting 1750
    Sharing Quests
    Unique sounds for criticals
Move party members up or down in the party window
Add friends as an incoming text type and Custom Spam filter

Lockable inventory space, so that items return to the same slots in our backpacks after being used. That'd be really cool.

If you're talking QoL enhancements to the game I'd suggest blocking all of Aspenor's posts.

Out of curiosity wouldn't that type of system cause some pack issues when looting things where some pack slots are reserved for items your currently wearing and then the game says your inventory is full?

Probably. That's their problem to figure out not mine.

And my statement is now justified.

The absolute best for me would be something mentioned often before, the .txt file inventory + bank export. That would be incredibly useful. I'm sure the addition of the bags would increase the complexity of this but it would be such a convenience/time saver.

Another great thing would be a freeform persistant scribble/notepad where we could jot down stuff that is character pertinent. (Swg made a .txt file in the character folder and was really nice.)

Actually a fix for that would be to increase our inventory by a number of slots equal to our equipable slots.

That way everything we are wearing is also carried in our packs.

The only time this would be advantageous to a player is when one or more equipment slots is not being used. So basically low level characters. I, for one, don't really have a problem giving low level characters a few extra squares of inventory.

Some way to get to join up with your Shroud raid group in meridia without /death, disbanding and accidently loosing your spot, or using greater teleport from Tempest Spine...

Seriously, "deathport" makes this game look terrible.

Oh, and stackable thief tools, up to 200.

I have to agree 100%. I hate using the quikc dual weilding buttons cause none of my weapons go back or switch with the new weapons I am equipping. Everything goes to the first available spot that lead to a load of cleaning up bs after each quest. so much so I dont use the hot buttons I just manually equip my weapons :/

    Default Auction Channel

It would be nice in addition to the game wide comms to have a specific channel for private auctioning. This would alleviate the necessesity of players posting trade adds in the LFM panel.

/Auction WTS / WTT +1 Banishing Rapier of Pure Good
Auction: Player says, WTS/WTT +1 Banishing Rapier of Pure Good.

This channel should also incorporate a toggle to turn on or off.

Make warforged's healthbar a different colour so i can easily and quickly see if i need to toss a reconstruct.
Make it so i can see a difference if someone is incapped or dead, even while i have them selected/they're talking.
Add a 'Select Nearest Interactable' Keybinding.
Allow rogues to initiate Disable Device and Open Lock by 'using' a locked object/control box. So that they don't have to waste 2 quickbar spots.
    • NEW – Tip #52 no longer mistakenly says that the Jump skill reduces falling damage. The appropriate skill is, in fact, tumble.

I like these and if I recall correctly there is a way to bind "Nearest Interactable" I have something that will target whatever is closest to me (party member or object) by using one of the buttons on the side of my mouse.

Nah, there's only 'Target next interactable' which works kind of like target nearest would, if you have nothing selected. But if you have anything selected then it cycles through them.

Separate my attack rolls from my saving throws and maybe skill rolls in the combat log categories. Currently they are all under 'Your actions'. I want to be able to log my saving throws without having my attack rolls spam my log into near-uselessness.

List the paladin aura bonus to AC and Saves as something more descriptive then Misc/Enchanted. Aura bonus, maybe.
List the paladin charisma bonus to saves as something other then feat bonus. Probably as Divine Grace bonus.

In other words just generally make the lists of effects on the stat page more descriptive.

Add a filter to the feats page for chosen feats only.

    Default 1750 Favor

I would appreciate this favor mark unlocking access to 32 point builds across all servers. Sorry but opting to pay X amount of dollars to have a character transfered to another server is not a reasonable solution.

Flag the account not the server.

Export the combat (I know it has already been mentioned) and extending its length. It's currently too short sometimes.
