    Default Shroud completion counter

I'm sure there's a thread on this subject but I can't find it. I was told to submit a ticket to a Gm to find out how many completions I had so I logged in on one of my 8 Shroud ready toons, submitted a ticket, got a response within 3 minutes, was informed I had to make a ticket for each toon and then was told how many I had on that one.

No problem so far. Since then ,however, every Gm I have spoken to has gotten me increasingly upset at the lack of communication going on over this as each and every one has told me to type/ quest completions to find out my total. When I explain to them that this as not my first day playing DDO and I had already done that they then tell me to submit a bug report. After that happened to the 2nd and 3rd GM's I dealt with I began wording my tickets so that a person with a nominal grasp of English would be able to determine that I had typed in the proper command, had successfully gotten a count from a GM for a different character, had submitted a bug report, and could they please just bypass telling me to do all of that and pass me along to a senior GM. This always takes forever of course so I am still trying to get a count on 4 of the 8.

    It would be nice if someone down at Turbine would put in a memo to whoever answers the tickets in India or wherever to first: read the ticket, and second: educate the GM's so they are all on the same page. It's really silly to have to make so many tickets in the first place but to have to wait for someone with EFL ( English first language ) to get you the right answer is maddening. Some of the Gm's might as well admit that they never read your ticket because they ask one redundant question after another. HELLLLLLLP (;

The best advice I can give you man is to go into the shroud and open the xp report. Look where it says "You have completed this quest X amount of times" and X should be your completion counter.

I have a worse beef than the OP. Same issue.

The Shroud isn't listed on the /quest completions log.
The Shroud isn't on my favor page.
I have completed it 21 times but got a regular end reward list, never the +3/clensing list.
When I enter the shroud it tells me I have repeated the adventure 1 time. (Because I'm capped)
The GM said I've only completed it 6 times.
The senior GM just closed my ticked.

Turbine, take me out to dinner first before you ____ me again.

    Default # of times completed?

Does it still show # of completions if u were capped before you did shroud?

Can We PLEASE get this fixed? It's VERY frustrating to: not get favor on a character who has completed the raid, have that same favor show up on a different character (who may or may not have done the raid at all), never know how many "official" completions a character has.

All in all, having to contact a GM for ANY reason can be an extremely frustrating experience, and having to do it for something as trivial as this (when it should have been fixed LONG AGO) makes it even more so.

I've decided that I'm going to send in a bug report EVERY TIME I complete a shroud run, and I encourage ALL PLAYERS to do the same. Maybe if the time lost on this becomes an issue, they will finally fix it..............

Maybe this is one of those things like the toolbars. We haven't made enough noise, so it must not be an issue.

The night before last I waited over an hour to get a response on my main's raid counter. Twenty minutes to get the canned "let me look into your issue", 10 minutes until "what is your issue?", 5 minutes until "I can't help you, bug report it", then 15 minutes until "so you want to know how many times you have completed The Shroud?", then about 20 more minutes until I got an answer. I nearly fell asleep at the keyboard. I can't believe it takes anywhere near that long to address a known problem.

    A tangent:
I had a friend that used to work in tech support, and the only way he could go to the bathroom was to put someone on hold. "Please reboot your computer, I'm going to make some notes in the system and I'll be right back." Now every time I'm on hold for a long time, I wonder if the GM has to download something.

I've basically stopped running the shroud since I don't have a clue where my favor went, and lord knows how many times Turbine has me logged as completing it. Not about to complete it 20 times on my scratch pad and then have them only give me credit for 11. Not burning any more resources until they un-**** this.

Actually the favor is there and the game knows you have it. However it just does not appear on your screen. I recently ran Rainbow on elite where I only had it on hard before this. The second I finished I had the little mail indicator pop up and was like "huh that must have given me enough favor with the 12" then I looked in the favor log and saw that my yellow bar was not showing a full bar. So I thought someone just sent me some arrows or something. Then when I went and checked mail sure enough it was the favor notification. I went and got my large ingredient bag and everything and bar still showing me as not haveing enough favor.

As others have stated, this stops being accurate when you cap.

I feel your pain, and submitted a thread about it a while ago here. If you have any issues with a particular GM, request a senior GM. The very next ticket after hearing back on the forums was a GM who actually seemed to understand English, was pleasant, and completed my request in a total of like 2 minutes after the initial response. So...I guess keep trying, and if you have a hard time, request a senior GM.

All done with Completionist (again) and Epic Completionist. First character to 30 on Sarlona* (before the rollback).

    Default senior gm's

I have requested a senior gm on 3 of 4 occasions and they simply do not get back to me in a reasonable amount of time.

    Hey guys,

This is a known bug, and will be fixed in M7. While the number of completions does not display with the /quest command, they are counted correctly.

Thanks Phax, guess I won't shy away from elite now if I can rest assured when it's fixed it'll show up for me. The thought of the torture and burned resources with no credit was vurry scurry....../brrrrrrrrr....

Just a quick question. Many have posted that the # of completions are not being counted correctly. Will there be a way to resolve this?

Considering that the counter mechanism for the shroud raid is the same as all other quests, that players cannot see the counter, and the possibility for user error, I am doubtful there is a bug here. I just went and tested to confirm it works, and I received the appropriate reward. If there is in fact a bug and players are not receiving their reward I can't say what kind of resolution there would be.

    Hey Phax,

Why not add this to the quest compendium? Then we can see EVERY quest, instead of "special" ones.

It's been mentioned before already (by Graal?), said it's was going to be added some day.

Not sure that there is a bug since i have guildmates that have finished their 20th in shroud and received the special list.
